Operational planning
Short-term support is provided to countries (as in Palestine and Cote d’Ivoire) to translate strategic plans to operational plans and facilitate the process of learning-by-doing.
Review and Evaluation
IIEP provides expert services to ministries and aid agencies to review and evaluate various educational reforms (Seychelles), programmes and policies, to conduct capacity needs assessments (Cambodia), etc.
Support to preparation of capacity development programmes
While it is well known that capacity development involves more than a simple series of training courses, the preparation of capacity development programmes is a complex exercise. IIEP's expertise in drafting comprehensive programmes – which start with a review of organizational functioning and comprise training, structural reforms, and the preparation of technical tools – may be useful to national governments and international agencies.
