Girls studying in East TimorAccess to education is a basic human right - also for people who live in situations of emergency, in conflict areas or in fragile contexts. IIEP helps governments and other practitioners provide this.

Partnerships

IIEP works closely with members of the INEE (Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies) and actively promotes the INEE Minimum Standards for Education in Emergencies, Chronic Crises and Early Reconstruction. Other key partners include The Fast Track Initiative (FTI) and the UNESCO Post-Conflict-Post-Disaster Unit.
