DENITZA ARGUIROVA

Economics of education, TVET and labor markets, school mapping and microplanning, indicators, projection and simulation models, institutional development

Denitza Arguirova is responsible for the financial and project monitoring of the Technical Cooperation team. She is also working on strategic planning design, education management information systems, school mapping and education indicators.

Denitza has been with IIEP since 2014, initially employed under the Administration team where she developed the Financial and Administrative Manual for the Institute. Currently, Denitza supports the oversight of all technical cooperation activities and projects, specifically to financial and project management. In addition, she is directly contributing to the programme on crisis-sensitive planning and the programme on strategic planning design, education management information systems, school mapping and education indicators.

She has also worked for the Director’s Office on the development of the new EPM solution and financial management system for the Institute. Denitza supports the ATP course on education development programmes and projects (EPM 314) since 2017. She also works on the development of the research area on the transition from education to employment.

Prior to joining IIEP, she worked for UNESCO Headquarters in the Office of the Director General and for the Bureau of Financial Management.
