The Advanced Training Programme (ATP)
The ATP is an intensive 8-month programme leading to a professional certificate at the Diploma or Master's level. It is practice-oriented and aims to strengthen the competencies and skills of education managers and other education experts from the public and non-governmental sectors. Participants are drawn in particular from government institutions, such as Ministries of Education, Finance or Planning; from international and national NGOs; as well as from research and training institutions and universities in Member States.

The Education Sector Planning (ESP) course
Participants in the ESP course gain competence in education sector diagnosis, policy and strategy formulation, and implementation planning, as well as in the use of education statistics and simulation tools for planning. This course is composed of an eight-week online learning phase and a 12 week residential training phase at IIEP in Paris.

Specialized Courses Programme (SCP)
This programme is designed for education specialists from ministries of education, NGOs and donor agencies who wish to take short-term, specialized courses. Participants select one or several of the Advanced Training Programme specialization courses offered in the spring. Each course lasts two weeks, on a full-time basis. Credits obtained for these courses can be accumulated towards the ATP.

Regional Training Course (RTC) in Buenos Aires
This four-month course on educational planning and management targets Latin American countries and is provided in Spanish at IIPE’s Office in Buenos Aires. Its content is equivalent to the ATP common core. Graduates of the RTC can complete the master programme at IIEP in Paris.

Summer Schools
IIEP Summer Schools, which take place at IIEP headquarters in Paris, is a programme of training and reflection based upon the exchange of recent experiences on a topic concerned with planning, management and evaluation of educational systems, and gathers together a wide range of persons interested in the chosen theme.
