What are some of the practices in collecting data on children with disabilities around the globe? How can those data be analysed to support policy?

Join us for a webinar (in English) on 27 June 2019 at 3pm (Paris time) with Dr. Daniel Mont, a disability data specialist with vast experience in the area of disability data collection and education management information systems (EMIS), especially in low resource environments.

As co-president and co-founder of the Center for Inclusive Policy in Washington D.C. and the lead consultant on developing indicators for monitoring the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, he will answer questions from the audience during an hour-long discussion.

This webinar follows up on a first webinar on the role of data in making schools inclusive for children with disabilities. This second edition will now be held also with French interpretation as it will be part of our related technical Round Table for participants from French-speaking African countries.

Technical Round Table

This webinar is part of our upcoming technical Round Table in partnership with UNICEF, on planning for disability-inclusive education. Key actors - government experts, development partners and representatives of the main national associations of people with disabilities - from eight French-speaking African countries will come together in July to discuss challenges and opportunities for advancing disability-inclusive educational planning.
