Head of IIEP-Pôle de Dakar, Analysis and implementation of education policies, Partnerships, International Cooperation

Guillaume Husson est is the head of IIEP-Pôle de Dakar, where he coordoninates the different teams and activities since 2014.

In cooperation with IIEP's decision-making bodies, he is also responsible for technical partnerships, seeking additional funding and facilitating a high-level dialogue on the orientations of education and training policies.

Guillaume Husson joined UNESCO in 2007 as education policy analyst. He supported the analysis, planning and implementation of education and training policies in nearly 20 African countries. Before joining UNESCO, he was, among other activities, technical adviser to the Directorate of Primary Education and the Directorate of Planning and Foresight in Benin, and assistant to the project manager in charge of supporting the reform of the Mauritanian education system with the French cooperation.

Guillaume Husson graduated from University of Paris 1 in Development and International Cooperation, and from Institut Universitaire Professionnalisé Denis Diderot in Dijon in Management of Organizations specializing in education and training.
