INEE

The Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE) is an open, global network of members working together within a humanitarian and development framework to ensure that all individuals have the right to a quality, safe, relevant, and equitable education. INEE’s work is founded on the fundamental right to education.

INEE serves its members through several key functions: community building, convening, knowledge management, amplifying and advocating, facilitating and learning, and providing.

INEE’s Data & Evidence team works with IIEP to strengthen national education systems capacity to collect, analyze, and use EiE Data - specifically EMIS systems

IIEP has been a member of multiple INEE Network Spaces including the Child Protection-EiE Reference Group and the 2018-2021 Education Policy Working Group.

In 2011, in collaboration with INEE, IIEP published several publications on education’s role in either mitigating or exacerbating fragility, in Afghanistan, Liberia, Cambodia and Bosnia Herzegovina, including a synthesis of the four situational analyses.
