About the publication

Revolution in science and technology has placed fundamentally new demands on education. Alongside the daily increasing convergence of science with production there is an equally growing need to combine education with work as well extend education beyond the duration of formal schooling and into periods of life. The author argues that education should be a continual lifelong processand outlines a possible structure and functions of such a lifelong education scheme for the Soviet Union.
