Learning is the biggest driver for change in our world today. We train education professionals who make learning possible, who design and create education systems for a stronger future.

The Advanced Training Programme − a one-year Master’s level course in Paris, France − is now accepting applications for the 2020-2021 session.

In a rigorous, yet stimulating environment, participants sharpen technical capacities while also cultivating the leadership skills needed to overcome the greatest challenges in education today. Our instructors, who are top experts in the field of educational planning and management, use a variety of learning methods, including one-on-one mentoring, group work, and plenary sessions.

Offered in English and French, courses cover a wide range of topics, from how to keep education systems afloat during crisis, how to manage budgets and human resources, how to diagnosis education systems and create sector plans, and more. The programme begins with a three-month online phase in September 2020, followed by a six-month residence at IIEP-UNESCO in Paris, and culminates with a final project relevant to the participant’s education system. A Master’s level equivalent certificate is awarded upon successful completion.

Interested in our shorter 6-month programme?

The Education Sector Planning (ESP) course is a shorter option that includes a three-month online phase and three months at IIEP in Paris. Participants are exposed to the fundamentals of educational planning. Participants who complete the ESP can apply it to the full Master’s level ATP at a later time.

The ESP begins in September 2020 and runs until March 2021.
