Celebrating International Women’s Day 2012

Empower Rural Women – End Hunger and Poverty

Recognizing the educational advancements of women worldwide, IIEP is celebrating International Women's Day 2012 by following up on the success of its 2011 Policy Forum on Gender Equality in Education: Looking Beyond Parity. The Institute is therefore pleased to invite you to join the e-Forum on the same theme, which will take place from 26 March to 6 April 2012.

Hosted on a new virtual platform, the event will allow participants to revisit the 2011 Policy Forum in the Presentation Room, swing by the Coffee Bar to speak with other “visitors” from around the world via a chat room and twitter, or take a book out of the Library, which will host a number of resources, or even add your own to the stacks.

With only two weeks until the start of the e-Forum, we encourage you to sign up and further the discussion of gender equality in learning achievement and leadership.
