External evaluation of CapEFA programme

UNESCO calls expressions of interest
Capacity Development for Education for All (CapEFA) is a major extra-budgetary programme that UNESCO implements in a large group of countries, with financial support from several donors. CapEFA focuses on strengthening national capacities in four thematic areas: sector-wide policy and planning, literacy, teachers, and technical and vocational education and training.
The programme’s design and implementation are inspired by the principles of successful capacity development, such as the strengthening of national leadership and the promotion of consultative processes. IIEP is involved in the implementation of several projects, in particular those concerning sector-wide policy and planning, and collaborates closely with both UNESCO Field Offices and Headquarters.
UNESCO is launching an external evaluation of this complex and extensive programme and is inviting expressions of interest. More information may be found on United Nations Global Marketplace website.
