Exchanging information through the ETICO info exchange, and conducting research
The IIEP launched a research project on 'Ethics and corruption in education' in 2001. One of its aims is to promote the circulation of information. To facilitate this objective, the information exchange platform ‘ETICO' was created to share relevant knowledge among specialists working in the field of ethics and corruption in ministries, international organizations and agencies, NGOs, universities and research institutions, etc.

ETICO info exchange includes:
- Research : information on IIEP/UNESCO research activities in the field of ethics and corruption
- Training : information on IIEP/ UNESCO training activities related to ethics and corruption in education
- PETS : a presentation of the Public Expenditure Tracking Surveys (PETS)

- Approaches and methods to diagnose the magnitude of corruption and its impact on education
