This lecture presents certain conclusions drawn from an IIEP research study regarding the new educational media -espicially radio and television .The authors reviews for what purposes, in what ways, and under what circumstances radio and television can be used to obtain maximum educational results.Before suggesting six strategic guidlines for maximizing productivity and efficiency of new educational media, the author analyses the advantages of a "systems approach".To sum up, the author considers that the great potential of radio and television to help educational systems solve their massive and urgent problems has scarcely been tapped to date .A list of suggested , exercices and reading is available in annex.
