Based on the success of its previous editions, in 2023 the offer is composed of one programme and three courses, which will be offered through IIEP-UNESCO's Global Campus and will address critical planning issues in LAC.

  • Regional Training Programme: Planning and Management of Educational Policies

This programme is organised in four courses that address the main conceptual and practical cores of planning, analysis, design and evaluation of public policies in education. By the end of 2022, more than 600 professionals in the field of education policy from Latin America and Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking African countries had graduated from this programme.

  • Course: The use of information for educational planning

This course, jointly organised by IIEP-UNESCO and OREALC/UNESCO Santiago, aims to provide a set of conceptual and practical tools to strengthen the use of statistical information in the planning of education systems, expanding the possibilities offered by the main data sources available in the decision-making process.

  • Course: Crisis-sensitive educational planning

The course aims to strengthen the planning and management processes of education policies in crisis situations in the countries of the region. Through this training, concepts, tools and strategies for the prevention, preparedness and mitigation of the effects of crises on education systems are provided.

  • Course: Gender Equality in Educational Planning

This course aims to promote knowledge and understanding of issues related to gender equality in education, in order to promote the incorporation of a gender perspective in the planning of educational policies.
