Educational planners and managers of UNESCO Member States are invited to an international seminar in French at UNESCO-IIEP in Paris from 28-30 September 2015 to discuss opportunities and challenges posed by digital technologies in designing equitable quality education and lifelong opportunities for all.
The seminar follows a meeting in Qingdao, organized in May 2015 by the People’s Republic of China on information and communications technology (ICT).
While educational planners face many challenges around designing and managing quality education systems, digital technology offers new opportunities that could profoundly improve the efficiency and capacity of their work.
The seminar will give experts an opportunity to share perspectives and outline concrete actions to help lead the education sector towards achieving the 2030 Education agenda.
Participants will also receive access to UNESCO-IIEP online communities where they can initiate discussions between educational planners and digital experts in the run-up to the event.
The seminar will be held in French.
